Children s voluntary organisations in Wales published a 'children s manifesto' in the run up to the National Assembly elections in 2003. The manifesto called on the Assembly to take action on 20 points, including establishing and implementing a plan to eradicate child poverty, undertaking a systematic and regular analysis of children s well-being, and ensuring that therapeutic services are available in every local authority area in Wales.
